#BlackHebrewGenocide 1619 - 2019 BUT GOD WILL SAVE HIS ELECT ~ Isaiah 45:17 The nation is in the grip of a historic opium epidemic, as we struggle to identify it's root causes. We can only imagine the psychological, emotional struggles families face as they deal with this epidemic! Praying for America! “I have seen addiction as a deputy prosecutor, defense attorney, drug court judge and Indiana Attorney General. We understand the scourge of addiction created by illegal drugs."To think that legal drugs have been manufactured and distributed in a way that increases and risks the harm to citizens of Gary and other communities is unconscionable," said Gary Mayor Karen Freeman-Wilson. This same truth can be understood from a historical crises that happened 399 years ago, with a group identified as Negros. The Bible foretold this reality! Then the LORD said to Abram, "You can be sure that your descendants will be strangers in a foreign land, where they will be oppressed as slaves for 400 years. Genesis 15:13 The arrival of the 20 African captives aboard a Dutch “man of war” ship on this day (August 20) in the year 1619 historically marks the early planting of the seeds of the American slave trade. Although American slavery was not a known institution at the time, this group of Africans was the first to go on record to be sold as involuntary laborers. These unidentified victims of exploitation has longed to reveal their true identity and their story to the world. Proverbs 23:7 tell us, “For as he thinks in his heart so is he.” For decades we as a people held the belief that we were slaves based on inferiority. But upon further research I've discovered that we are the people of the Book! The name of Israel is referenced 2,565 times in the KJV Bible only second to God 4,717... The Book is Judah's story! Deuteronomy 30:19 - I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, [that] I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live In Deuteronomy 28 God prophesied that we would enter Egypt a second time on ships! God's favor was with the tribe of Judah. But because we failed to keep our part of the covenant due to our continued iniquities against Him. In August of 1619 that age old prophecy came true! After this I will return, and will build again the tabernacle of David, which is fallen down; and I will build again the ruins thereof, and I will set it up! Acts 15:16 ‘But I will judge the nation that they serve,’ said God, ‘and after that they shall come out and worship me in this place.’

#TithingFundamentalShortQuiz ANSWER KEY :) # Tithing is one way to worship God—to honor Him as your provider and remind yourself that all of your resources belong to Him and are provided through His grace. As you give away that first 10% of your income, you set your course to honor God in the way you handle the rest of your finances. # Levites tithe: Duties of Levites 1So the LORD said to Aaron, “You and your sons and your father’s household with you shall bear the guilt in connection with the sanctuary, and you and your sons with you shall bear the guilt in connection with your priesthood. 2“But bring with you also your brothers, the tribe of Levi, the tribe of your father, that they may be joined with you and serve you, while you and your sons with you are before the tent of the testimony. 3“And they shall thus attend to your obligation and the obligation of all the tent, but they shall not come near to the furnishings of the sanctuary and the altar, or both they and you will die. 4“They shall be joined with you and attend to the obligations of the tent of meeting, for all the service of the tent; but an outsider may not come near you. 5“So you shall attend to the obligations of the sanctuary and the obligations of the altar, so that there will no longer be wrath on the sons of Israel. 6“Behold, I Myself have taken your fellow Levites from among the sons of Israel; they are a gift to you, dedicated to the LORD, to perform the service for the tent of meeting. 7“But you and your sons with you shall attend to your priesthood for everything concerning the altar and inside the veil, and you are to perform service. I am giving you the priesthood as a bestowed service, but the outsider who comes near shall be put to death.” Attitude that glorify God: Our attitude in giving is important to God. The text says Jesus "watched the crowd putting their money into the temple treasury." Jesus observed the people as they gave their offerings, and he watches us today as we give. If we give to be seen by men or with a stingy heart toward God, our offering loses its value. Jesus is more interested and impressed by how we give than what we give. We see this same principle in the story of Cain and Abel. God evaluated Cain and Abel's offerings. Abel's offering was pleasing in God's eyes, but he rejected Cain's. Rather than giving to God out of thankfulness and worship, Cain may have presented his offering with evil or selfish intent. Maybe he had hoped to receive special recognition. Regardless, Cain knew the right thing to do, but he didn't do it. God even gave Cain an opportunity to make things right, but he chose not to. This illustrates again that God watches what and how we give. God not only cares about the quality of our gifts to him, but also the attitude in our hearts as we offer them. # A tithe is a tenth part of man’s blessings, herds, crops, or income. A tithe, or tenth part of blessings, should be offered to God. God has ordained tithes as a systematic way of giving. When we give our tithes, we are acknowledging that God has blessed us. It is recognizing that God is the source of our blessings. When we give our tithes, it is one way of giving back to God what he has given to us. We must remember we are not giving only to the church, but we are giving to God also. # FAITH & GIVING: The church is a means by which we can give monetarily back to God. When we give our tithe, it is an act of faith and obedience toward God. When we give our tithes and offerings, we are worshipping God. ALMS GIVING AFTER THE LAW Jesus spoke more about giving alms than He did tithes and offerings: "Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven. Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth: That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret Himself shall reward thee openly." Matthew 6:1-4 # OFFERINGS AFTER THE LAW One of the examples of offerings in the New Testament is the poor widow. Luke records that as Jesus was sitting by the treasure, He observed the people casting their gifts into the offering. He watched as the rich men cast in of their abundance. Then He noticed a poor widow casting in her offering which was only two mites. The mite was the smallest coin used, and was equivalent to our penny. Jesus took note of this poor widow's offering. In Jesus' words, He noted that this poor widow had cast in more than all the rich who had given money into the collection: "And He said, Of a truth I say unto you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all:" Luke 21:3 Why? Because they had given less then two mites? No! Jesus answered this question: "For all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of God: but she of her penury hath cast in all the living that she had." Luke 21:4 The rich had only given of their abundance. Their gift had cost them nothing. There was no sacrifice in their giving. Their offering, as Cain's, was not acceptable before God. The widow's offering cost her all she had, even her living. She stood righteous before the Lord. God's Word does not inform us how God blessed this poor widow, but we know He did. The greatest offering in the New Testament is the offering that Jesus made for all mankind. Paul spoke of this sacrifice in his letter to the Ephesians: "And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given Himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling savour." Ephesians 5:2 Jesus gave the ultimate sacrifice in that He gave His life. He provided the way for all mankind to be forgiven their sin. This was a sweetsmelling savour that went up before God. God does not require that we give up our physical life. He desires only that we put our old, carnal, fleshly, selfcentered, selfserving life to death, so that we may stand before Him righteous and acceptable. As Paul proclaimed: "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave Himself for me." Galatians 2:20 When we are truly crucified with Christ and allow the anointing to direct our lives, we, too, are a sweet-smelling savour unto the Lord. We cannot expect God to bless us as long as we rob Him in tithe and offerings. We must remember our offerings are not a "have to," as with tithes. Our offering must be a "want to," to be acceptable and well-pleasing in the sight of God. God may not require your offering to be as Abraham's, Hannah's, or even the poor widow's, but our offerings most cost us something to be acceptable in the sight of God. # TITHE PAID IN THE NEW TESTAMENT Jesus admonished the Pharisees: "But woe unto you, Pharisees! For ye tithe mint and rue and all manner of herbs, and pass over judgment and the love of God: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone." Luke 11:42 Jesus did not admonish them because they paid tithes. They paid tithes on everything down to the smallest seed. But they failed to teach the people about God's judgment and His love. Jesus told the Pharisees that they should have paid their tithes and not left the teaching of God's judgment and His love undone. Today many churches do not teach tithing because they do not want to drive people away. In reality they are robbing God's people of their blessing. When tithing is not taught, they are allowing their people to ignorantly rob God. By this they allow the devourer to have free access to their people. Then the church and the people wonder why they are not being blessed. When God's people return again unto God, He will return unto them as He has promised. # OFFERINGS God informed us through Malachi that His people not only robbed Him in tithes, but in offerings also. Many believe their only obligation to God is the tithe. But we can rob God in our offerings also. "Accept, I beseech thee, the freewill offerings of my mouth, O Lord, and teach me thy judgments." Psalm 119:108 Unlike tithes, offerings are NOT an obligation. An offering is not a bill we owe, it is a sacrifice we choose to make. As the Psalmist proclaimed, an offering must be "free will" from a willing heart. A freewill offering will always cost something to give. The offering is a test of faith. As with tithes, an offering cannot be given for selfish reasons, expecting to get something in return. God has warned us through the pen of Malachi that when we do not give offerings we are robbing God. Many believe their only duty to God is to pay their tithes. But offerings are part of God's ordinances also.

We are a nonprofit organization and can provide a IRS letter. Please inbox me if you are interested in being a blessing to the youth of the community. Share and spread the word.
